After watching the Sunday morning political shows, one word stuck out. Yes, more than "Maverick". More than "Change".

The word that I had to actually look up was....kerfuffle!

kerfuffle - a disorderly outburst or tumult; commotion, hoo-ha, disruption, disturbance, a public disturbance.

Kerfuffle makes me giggle. Hoo-ha makes me giggle, too. I used that word several weeks ago in church.

My migraine has made my brain turn to mush. My migraine caused a kerfuffle in my brain.

Kerfuffle is an onomatopoeia - a word that sounds like what it is. It's a great word, and really descriptive. Whenever I hear the word, I imagine chairs being thrown across a room, and someone flying across a bar into the mirror behind it, that kind of stuff. :-)

I certainly hope that is not going on in your brain. Take care of yourself!

Jo, Unfortunately, my head did feel like chairs being tossed across the room.

Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook .
