I Ate Too Much Turkey

I Ate Too Much Turkey
Jack Prelutsky

I ate too much turkey,
I ate too much corn,
I ate too much pudding and pie,
I'm stuffed up with muffins and much too much stuffin',
I'm probably going to die.
I piled up my plate and I ate and I ate,
but I wish I had known when to stop,
for I'm so crammed with yams, sauces, gravies, and jams
that my buttons are starting to pop.
I'm full of tomatoes and french fried potatoes,
my stomach is swollen and sore,
but there's still some dessert,
so I guess it won't hurt if I eat just a little bit more.

Thanksgiving Wishes to my blogging friend!
Hey, I really didn't think that tree was all that, but I put it on my Etsy site anyway.
And I sent one to you as a Housewarming Gift! So, enjoy.
And it really isn't all that, but thanks anyway.
Happy Turkey Day, Deb & Fred! Let us know when you get settled in your new home and we'll get together to celebrate somewhere inbetween your place and ours. I miss you TONS, dear friend!

Hey I want some elastic Eileen Fishers. Her clothes are AWESOME! And aren't elastic waistbands a prerequisite for Thanksgiving dinner?

I can identify! I had THREE kinds of pie. (Small pieces, but still, THREE).

Hope you had a great day!
