Busy Hands

Having a little time on my hands on Sunday at the Rubber Stamp & Scrapbook Expo in St. Paul, MN, I walked the show floor looking for things I just could not live without. Sure enough, my friends at The Paper Cut, http://thepapercut.com/, Ron and Sarah, had an adorable little accordion library pocket album. The neat thing about their stuff is it is packaged superbly and the instructions are very simple.
The little album is for a busy mom and made to capture the baby's photos at the 1 month birthday and through 12 months of age. This one, of course, is for my grandson Jack.

This is absolutely adorable! I must make one for Jamie. She is supposed to know whether the baby she is carrying is another boy or a girl at her next ultrasound. This is a beautiful gift. Baby Jack is so lucky!

This book is the cutest little book. It was quick and is beautiful. I love it. I like how for a busy mom all she need is one photo and a few memories of the month. Where is baby Jack. Those little boys sure love their Mamas. You have to push them out the door. Ha Ha Ha

It is April of  2019. The year that marks my 65th trip around the sun.  Somehow, I always knew that I would make this landmark. There was never a doubt in my mind. The first 65 years have been trouble free. Moderate medical issues. One simple surgery in 2017.  This year will also mark 47 years of marriage to one man. Give me a standing O now, please! It’s incredible to recognize that I’ve know this man for almost 50 years. I don’t regret one single day. Not one.  Sure, there have been times that were filled with questions and struggles. Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook . Her collection of designs and patterns reminds me of a little sea side cottage. I can smell the ocean spray right now. These papers bring me back to a time when I think I would have loved to live…The Victorian Age. But let’s not fool anyone, I want all of the modern day luxuries.
