Sleeping Dogs? What About Cats?

We have all heard of the phrase, "Let sleeping dogs lie" and "Never wake a sleeping baby", well who has ever heard of a rule that applies to a sleeping cat?

Never, mind you, NEVER, come up upon your sleeping cat and think it is a good idea to give him a kiss. If your cat is in a deep sleep like mine was, you will find your face clawed because you startled the little furry guy. Yes, my face now looks like I have been clawed by a bear, well, that is a bit of an exaggeration, but none the less, I am grateful that I am a bang wearer!

Excuse me now while I go find the antibiotic cream.

Hmmmm...this post is a good argument for dogs. When you sneak up on a sleeping dog (our dogs anyway)they simply roll over and wait for a tummy rub :)

Ouch! If I sneak up on my cats I think they'd purr me to death...

Poor Deb! Since Jason is alergic to all things that shed, we don't have cats. Our non-shedding dogs are just like my mom's. If you attempt to wake them up, they'll either lick you to death or roll over for some tummy love.

Ahh...I hope I haven't turn all off to cats. In Will's defense, he was a stray that we rescued from the neighborhood kids. They thought it was cool to throw rocks at Will and he hid out under the street sewer. He is the most lovable of our three kitties! Thanks for your concerns.

OOOPS! Sorry about the deleted comment. Thought I was signed on but it was my son (bly guy), thus the deletion.

What I meant to say as me:

I'm so sorry I'm laughing at your expense - but the visual your words created is just priceless!
