Random Thoughts You Could Probably Live Without!

These are just some random list of nonsense things that either bug me, irk me, enhance my day.

  • I love the All Natural Granola Bark from Publix
  • Not so much a fan of the new Hazelnut Biscotti creamer
  • I despise when while pouring my coffee in the morning that the pot leaks all over the counter. (this isn't supposed to happen as I purchased the dang thing from Williams Sonoma)
  • I took the What Type of Flower Are You? and I am a Snapdragon! Go figure! Is everybody a Snapdragon?
  • I really hate my cell phone and long for the day when they did not exist
  • I confess that I love to watch the hurricanes as they twist and turn through the Atlantic as they make their way westward
  • I love a good thunderstorm
  • If my family is safely tucked inside their homes, I love a snow storm. Not the dusting we so often get here in Atlanta, but the ones I experienced during my years in Chicago burbs
  • I am absolutely addicted to Michelina's Buffalo Style Chicken Snack - on the days that I follow Weight Watchers, I'm happy to know they are only 4 points!
  • Oh the beauty of autumn! I love the colors and the long shadows of the day
  • When I see a feral cat or kitten, my heart breaks. I would take them all in if I had the room and the means
  • Every Tuesday and Friday, I have all my "I just won the lottery!" plans already laid out. Yes, I dream twice a week about how my life would change if money was removed from the equation of life
  • I adore my grandson, Jack and am ready for lots more
  • I worry that my mom may lose her eyesight and wonder what kind of person she will become if plagued with that burden
  • I am a closet decorator and if invited to your home, mentally redo your interior to what I think is best
  • I love a good movie where boy meets girl and they all live happily ever after
  • At times, I believe I have a limited physic ability and can predict what life's toll may take
  • There is nothing better than a hot and juicy tomato fresh off the vine
  • No matter how many times I do a html link on my blog, I always have to redo it because I've made some mistake
  • I simply cannot memorize my kid's cell phone number because I use speed dial all the time
  • Although it has been 5 years, I still miss my beloved beagle, Heidi
  • There is nothing better than the ocean breeze waifing across your face while floating in the warm waters
  • I believe that animals should not sustain pain and suffering and that we need to be the better person and allow them to pass on
  • I believe that dreams do eventually come true through faith, hope and prayer

You write the most interesting posts...seriously. I love visiting your blog! I don't even know where to begin with this one. You and I share so many of the same thoughts and interests (no wonder we became friends those many years ago). But every once in a while you surprise me. Although your previous home was meticulously decorated, I didn't know you had a knack for decorating other people's homes. May I hire you? And, psychic abilities? Way cool! Sadly, I have no special talents. I am a jack of all trades and master of none. I'm so glad you're part of my circle of friends, Deb :)

Great post! I love a good thunderstorm myself. And I like that you pick and choose which days you are going to follow WW. I am not very good at it. Not good at all.

It is April of  2019. The year that marks my 65th trip around the sun.  Somehow, I always knew that I would make this landmark. There was never a doubt in my mind. The first 65 years have been trouble free. Moderate medical issues. One simple surgery in 2017.  This year will also mark 47 years of marriage to one man. Give me a standing O now, please! It’s incredible to recognize that I’ve know this man for almost 50 years. I don’t regret one single day. Not one.  Sure, there have been times that were filled with questions and struggles. Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook . Her collection of designs and patterns reminds me of a little sea side cottage. I can smell the ocean spray right now. These papers bring me back to a time when I think I would have loved to live…The Victorian Age. But let’s not fool anyone, I want all of the modern day luxuries.
