Why? Why?

As I sip my dirty martini tonight with eyes glued to CNN and my Cafe World running in the background, I wonder....

Why do some people feel so superior to others?

Why do so called good Christians act as though they far from Christian?

Why, according to the CNN poll, do 57% of Americans say they will not donate to the Haitian disaster?

Why, when China landed in Haiti, did they flaunt their flag as to stake Haiti for their own?

Why, after drinking less than one half of my martini, do I feel giddy?

Why is it that it will cost me over $1000 bucks to have a sitter for my MIL for one week?

What else can I possibly purchase for my Cafe World with my 2 million points?

Why did God take that tiny little 18 month old baby after being rescued?

Drivin' 55 out...

How can others be so cruel! I can't believe the things I have heard from some about the disaster in Haiti! It just breaks my heart!! So I feel all of your whys...why, why, why!

My Cafe in Cafe World will never get any bigger as I can't seem to get more than six neighbors....=( I just keep plugging along with a tiny cafe and it's a good distraction at times! =)

I don't know what to tell you, my friend. But one thing I do know is that we will always be questioning why. Always.

I often wonder myself. Especially about how God Himself is a God of Love ...yet others who profess Him can be filled with so much hate? It baffles me at times. Then I just have to turn it over to Him to soften their hearts and show them His love. I often wonder when those stand before God what He will say? Yes you are My child ...but why oh why did you lead so many others away from Me with a heart full of hate instead of love. Did I not forgive you? Did I not love you flaws and all? Did I not teach you that I am the ONLY Judge? .... many ponderings.

The judging has been horrendous. Do you think I could come down for a week and do it? As a gift to you?

Some things are hard to figure out, and some depend on faith. We can only account for our own thoughts and actions. The rest we leave to Him.

Haiti is such a tragedy. I hope your husband is feeling better. Yikees that sure is a lot for your MILs sitter. You need to ask around and call the ALZ too. You will love the movie when you see it as it is funny.

So very very sad. Except the dirty martini giddy part.

I pray that relief comes to Haiti.

I can't do the dirty martini... but at times like this I always have questions. It seems disasters bring out the best and the worst of people.
