After our treacherous drive up to Pike's Peak, I managed to catch my breath enough to venture out to snap this photo.

Looking at the clouds below us was a treat.

Awesome catch..... Great job! Reminds me the saying,,,, We never know how high we are, till we are called to ris; and then, if we are true to plan, our statures touch the sky... Happy Skywatch! Hope you can visit my SWF entry too...

Breathtaking! I had a similar experience once along the coastal roads in California. We were up above the fog and clouds. It was equal parts freaky and cool!
