What Our Country Needs Is....

Some days are better than others, granted, we cannot all live at the top of the mountain all of the time. As with ups, there are always downs. Case in point, the economy. The tragedy in Texas. The deficit. Lost jobs to China.

As I ponder this state of the world, I wonder, will we ever see those high times again? Or will it be a modified version of "happy days are here again".


The Cunningham family lived care free lives. Ahhh...the 50's. I was just a babe without a care in the world. If Marion or Joanie had a problem, The Fonz would always come to the rescue. For that matter, Fonzie solved every one's problems.


We don't need a bail out plan. We need a modern day Arthur Fonzerelli to the rescue.

I dont have any idea... but the government is starting to remind of of a bunch of keystone cops running around like crazy people.

I love the Fonz! Polite, tough, loyal, cool, and he could make the jukebox work with out having to pay. Hmmm, I think they broke the mold.

It is April of  2019. The year that marks my 65th trip around the sun.  Somehow, I always knew that I would make this landmark. There was never a doubt in my mind. The first 65 years have been trouble free. Moderate medical issues. One simple surgery in 2017.  This year will also mark 47 years of marriage to one man. Give me a standing O now, please! It’s incredible to recognize that I’ve know this man for almost 50 years. I don’t regret one single day. Not one.  Sure, there have been times that were filled with questions and struggles. Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook . Her collection of designs and patterns reminds me of a little sea side cottage. I can smell the ocean spray right now. These papers bring me back to a time when I think I would have loved to live…The Victorian Age. But let’s not fool anyone, I want all of the modern day luxuries.
