My baby loves his Little Tykes car.  Especially when Grand Pop plays with him.  Grand Pops play rougher than

Grand Moms.  Grand Moms walk around the cul-de-sac, waving to the neighbors and the security man. IMG_3728

The Toddlers just seem to be so much more attached to the grandpa's that let them do all sorts of fun stuff....Sophie wanted some chocolate bunny cookies today and when her mother said she couldn't have any she said at the top of her voice...."Get Grandpa on the phone".....she talks like Arthur Spooner from the King Of Queens where the last word of the sentence goes up a couple of notches....

It is April of  2019. The year that marks my 65th trip around the sun.  Somehow, I always knew that I would make this landmark. There was never a doubt in my mind. The first 65 years have been trouble free. Moderate medical issues. One simple surgery in 2017.  This year will also mark 47 years of marriage to one man. Give me a standing O now, please! It’s incredible to recognize that I’ve know this man for almost 50 years. I don’t regret one single day. Not one.  Sure, there have been times that were filled with questions and struggles. Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook . Her collection of designs and patterns reminds me of a little sea side cottage. I can smell the ocean spray right now. These papers bring me back to a time when I think I would have loved to live…The Victorian Age. But let’s not fool anyone, I want all of the modern day luxuries.
