Neil Simon wrote a delightful Broadway play that
was developed into a successful tv show.
Odd Couples some in all shapes and sizes.
I caught Grace, in the front, snuggling with her nemesis, Will.
I swear Grace never forgave us for bringing Will into our family.
Both were strays that hit pay dirt by finding their way to our home.
Perhaps Grace is getting old and decided to forgive and forget.
I kinda think her feelings are....
"any port in a storm" when it is cold outside.
Either way, I now have proof that she just may like him a little bit.

One of my cats, Jessie, despises the other... Isabel is indifferent. Jessie however loves the dog and will lay with him, but would not be caught dead doing that with Isabel. Crazy cats!

It is April of  2019. The year that marks my 65th trip around the sun.  Somehow, I always knew that I would make this landmark. There was never a doubt in my mind. The first 65 years have been trouble free. Moderate medical issues. One simple surgery in 2017.  This year will also mark 47 years of marriage to one man. Give me a standing O now, please! It’s incredible to recognize that I’ve know this man for almost 50 years. I don’t regret one single day. Not one.  Sure, there have been times that were filled with questions and struggles. Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook . Her collection of designs and patterns reminds me of a little sea side cottage. I can smell the ocean spray right now. These papers bring me back to a time when I think I would have loved to live…The Victorian Age. But let’s not fool anyone, I want all of the modern day luxuries.
