Pioneer Woman Comes to Atlanta Part 2

Pioneer Woman - I know you want more! So here goes...if there was a Q & A, we didn't stay for it. But really, we know so much about her and her family, at least the parts she chooses to share with us and in my opinion, if she doesn't share it, we shouldn't ask about it.

I wasn't going to embarrass her by asking briefs or boxers...how rude! Quick...what sitcom did this statement come from? I have no idea, really.

Back to Ree, my initial impression when she arrived and took the mic was that she was still, shy and overwhelmed. Since this wasn't her first rodeo, I thought she would be a little more at ease, but clearly, I don't think she was ready for the Atlanta gals to cheer, roar and applaud upon her arrival.

Shortly after her arrival, she quickly manned her table and began signing away. Betsy was there, although I didn't see her because she had escaped to get a latte. Hyacinth was sitting at the table beside Ree, ready to give out the lovely tee shirts to the first 100 or so women standing in line.
The design is as lovely as the post she did a few weeks back. The tee shirts run small so if you are Miss Big Boobs, watch out! It will be tight fitting. (I think I need to lose 15 more pounds before I venture outside with the tee shirt on!)

I am never shy and am usually the first to ask a question. Here I am, asking Ree about the perfect sugar cookie recipe. "Don't use the one in the book if you want to cut out cookies, pull the one off my website and you will be a big hit. " (I will report back on this one.)
While we were chatting, I became aware of her struggle with concentration. As much as she wanted to chat with me, clearly she was multi tasking and not one with the moment.

And that was OK with me, believe me. She was on the road for days, away from her family and man, probably lacking in the sleep department. I get it. God Bless Her for taking on such a monumental task. Atlanta 100% appreciates your stop here on your world wind tour.

Must have been great fun. Was going to try and see her in Westchester PA but the weather and the time of the visit scared us off. Thanks for sharing.
