So…Will You or Won’t You?

It seems as though we are bombarded everyday about the H1N1 virus these days.  One can’t go 5 minutes watching the news without either a story about the shortage of the vaccine, the reported 19 deaths of young children, or the long lines of people lining up to acquire the vaccine.

Though it seems that I do not fall into the recommended age group, I do not have to ponder whether or not to participate in the mass of people attempting to be vaccinated.  Every year my husband and I get our annual flu shots, but I wonder if I would get the new vaccine.  The Swine flu peaked in Georgia as soon as the children went back to school in early August.  It seems to be waning at this point.

Somehow I believe that the media has blown this story out of proportion because they seem to do this with every mass story.  Gee, the media has never done this before, right?

Bottom line…will you get the H1N1 vaccine?  Will your family members be vaccinated?  Do you believe we will experience a pandemic?

I got my regular flu shot as always and if I am eligible for the H1N1, I will get it too .... I have listened to the facts and I think its far better to be inoculated than end up sick ... I don't watch/listen to Faux 'News' and their ranting .. but I bet everyone of those obnoxious mud stirring opinion NOT fact spewing people (cant call them journalists) got their shots.

Happy Halloween .. don't take any faux advice from opinion spreaders .. if you want facts on the flu or if you should get a shot: call your doctor

I am of the group of people that should be vaccinated and I wondered if I would have it or not. I am not sure it has been tested thoroughly and if the panic is justified. Last week while at a routine dr. visit the choice was made clear to me...she had the vaccine and I had the facts, so I got it. No problem, no reaction, no side effects as to date. I do feel a little safer now, I got both flu shots this year, as it has not peaked here as of yet. You have to do what is right for you but I would urge you to consider it. Take care Deb and have a safe/ Happy Halloween...;p

I've had my H1N1. Why? Because I work in an elementary school health office and the town supplied the vaccine free of charge to all the nurses and health assistants. I probably wouldn't have otherwise.
If I were thinking of getting pregnant I would most definitely get one. That's the group that seems to be getting hit the worst, (death, terrible complications, etc.).
I do think its all been blown out of proportion. And I'm a wee bit worried they're not telling us something....
