Thanks to my friend, Debra, I received this email today.  So take a trip down memory lane and realize how old you really are!

I remember about half that stuff... Does that mean I'm only half old?!!

Well some of those are before my time but I sure remember things like the gum wrapper chains and S&W stamps! A&W still exists, which is wacky cool!

didn't it seems some how easier and happier then...maybe it was just because we were young.

LOVE THIS! I remember saving them...and remember when you would get a big one, and it would only have to go on the bottom of the page? And that would count for the whole page? ...I think we need to start a movement to bring these back.

A lot of this I do remember but not the S&H stamps ... I had heard of them, seen pix of them but never collected them, I guess Mom didnt shop at places that gave them out.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Could you imagine a time where no one would recognize what a skate key was, ha!
The metal ice cube trays, ugh, they were always a battle. Ha.

I remember gluing my grammy's green stamps in books for her using her kitchen sponge.

And the ice cube tray! Yee haw!

I froze my hand to one of those ice trays once...and I can STILL point out where the S&H Stamp redemption center use to be. We still have an A&W place too.
