Summer, I Loved You So...

Good bye, Summer.
It's been a lovely season.
You provided us with so much sunshine and warmth.
But now get the hell out of the way because
I want some cool autumn evenings to enjoy
the porch and dine alfresco by twinkling candlelight.
My Internet connection has been very temperamental these days.
Me thinks all of the rain has somehow soaked the wires somewhere
in the earth and messing with every one's feed.
Thank goodness my ATT tech is coming today.

I was given your blog address from Rue-Mouffetard - she said we were all in the same general area of Atlanta - I live in Marietta - Cobb County - and we were hit really hard with all that rain. My back yeard still has some water in it. Our neighborhood entrance was washed out too!

Nice to meet you.

I am with you. I am looking forward to a change of color and a change in scenery. I am not looking forward to the dreary winter but you have to take the good with the bad.
