Can you believe it was eight years ago? I went to the World Trade Center not long before they were knocked down, and I realized how huge they were, and when I watching the horror of them falling, all I could think was, who would do such a ghastly thing to all those innocent people!?
We had daughters' future in-laws and family booked across at the street at the Hilton for the wedding....Rudy Guiliani was to perform the ceremony...she was home in Georgia finalizing plans when she refused to fly back to NY..I rented a car one way and had to drive her home...we were there one week later and visited the site whie it was still not blocked off...I have never seen anything like it....the devastation was massive...heavy smoke still in the air....I flew home one week later and I was only one of eleven people on the Delta flight....
I feel the need to share again. To put my thoughts on the table for those to read. Nothing earth shattering, I don't think, but none the less, I feel the need. Turmoil? Unrest? Secondly, if there is an inch of snow, than the weather channels declare "Snow Jam 2010"! Nothing else in the world is news worthy as Snow Jam 2010 becomes our only news event. Since living here in Georgia, we once received 7 inches of snow. Trucks could not come into replenish the store shelves. Sch...
