You Had Me At The Cover…

As of late, I have made every attempt to read a broader base of literature.  I dusted off my Shakespeare and reread several classics.

I plan on making a trip to our local library so that I can obtain a range of books on Henry VIII.  Yes, I have so many questions regarding the ole boy.

But when it comes to  my favorite reads of all times….

It is Nora Roberts.  I know, she’s just one step up from the Harlequins but I cannot help myself.

So, on April 28th, I will be at the bookstore getting her latest release.

Nora

Isn’t this cover intriguing?  And the best thing is…this is a series.

Hello, Nora, you had me at the cover!

I can't bring myself to buy a hard back. Unless it's Diana Gabaldon. Does that make me cheap?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Nora Roberts! My mom got me hooked on her way back when. I too am trying to read a wider variety of literature, but find myself sucked into anything she comes out with. Let me know how you like her new book!

Its candy for the eyes and head .. a nice easy read to balance out the Henry stuff .. eons ago PBS did The Six Wives of Henry the VIII ... it was sensational, if you can find it, rent it and watch .. not as sexy as the new Tudor series but truly excellent... Keith Michel was played Henry ...

I recently cut and pasted a 100 books list that is circling around the web. I also want to read more and "broaden my horizon". I say, "make new friends but keep the old..."

Nora Roberts is my "go to" author when I can't get into any other books. She weaves a good story with lot's of heated passion! Ya gotta love that!

Wow....impressive that you've been reading some Shakespeare, too, of late!

Am trying to think if I've read any Nora Roberts books....possibly one a few years ago.

And, yes....it is nice to find a series you like to extend the reading enjoyment!
