Empty

Why am I so unsettled?
I feel empty.

What am I searching for?

I feel that way sometimes. Just keep yourself open and the path will be shown.

sad to say, I've been feeling the same sort of restlessness. Sending you love and light, keep your heart open, it will get better...right?

I think the fact that it's August has a lot to do with it....I find September more new than I do January...you are on the cusp;)

Oh, I so feel the same way. My second child of four got married last week - we weren't that happy about it.. My mom fell 2 days later - she is 86 - now in the hospital. I'm pulled from all sides and can't find myself.

Deb we live in a cycle - sometimes we are going up and sometimes we are going down - and sometimes we are in the middle. We are always changing our directions. And then we feel lost. Stay with the feelings and you will find your way.

You are searching for the thing that fills the void.
The only thing that fills completely is what we were created for, a relationship with God.

I've been trying to catch up on blogs and am sorry I haven't been around much lately. I think it's the weather and the time of year, Deb.

I gotta agree with Lauren. September feels like a new start with the changing of the seasons. Hopefully you won't feel so bereft.

Deb, I feel the same way...I'll be 50 in two months, I think some is the age which meshes with a stage in life, but then the life I'd love to have and the one I do have are two very different things. And we're sort of in limbo with hubby retiring the end of next year and us not knowing where we really want to be living. Whatever your path is, my thoughts are with you.
