This is my happy little blog full of personal thoughts, opinions, family life and my feeble attempt to photograph life as it rushes by me.

Nothing says yesteryear than hydrangeas. One look at this beautiful snowball flower and I imagine antique lace, doilies, and the hint of Scarlett O'Hara whispering to Rhett. I have never been lucky enough to grow hydrangeas. For some reason, I lack that green thumb required to produce these beauties. Send me your photos of the hydrangeas in your yard. I can't wait to see them!
By far, my very favorite flower. I have three in my garden. The one that was given to me by my mother in law is beautiful....just waiting for it to bloom. When it does, I will ber sure to share some picutres. It makes me think of her and what a beautiful person she was.....
Very lovely! My mom had a snowball bush when we were kids, but I don't know if that's a hydrangea or not. She always wanted a blue hydrangea bush, but blue would grow in Iowa soil, she was told.
Its not about a green thumb, its about nitrates .. seriously, ask at a garden center what you need to add to the dirt in your garden/yard to get them to grow.
Hi Deb...I adore Hydrangeas..I just got home from my trip and waiting for me from a fellow blogger was a beautiful arrangement with this lovely flower...I love when you dry them...How have you been...did you have any interest in the Viking coking class that we are going to?? I can't remember if I heard back from you...
Year 2010 Overview Taurus always gets tagged with things like "pleasure-seeking" and "materialistic." That's probably unfair, in most cases. You're just as good at dishing out the pleasure as you are at seeking it, and who doesn't like a few nice things around? Sadly, there's been just too much struggle in your life the last couple of years when it comes to those two very important parts of your life. Thankfully, 2010 marks the end of that long uphill struggle . Your pleasurable pursuits have been a little more restricted than you'd like over the course of the last two years or so. That's over with now, so ... game on! The big events this year will not so much be a matter of major happenings as they will be things that have been in the works and are slowly revealing themselves . In the last two years, you've put a lot of work into what makes you happy, while Saturn transited your solar Fifth House. Now that those pressures are finally bei...
So much to say, so little time… ran off to Barnes and Noble bright and early today to purchase South of Broad. I’ve already read the prologue and first chapter and am enthralled in the way Pat Conroy writes. got my necessary pedicure and eye brow wax (what’s the big deal about a little hot wax?) off to Ulta to replenish my supply of Bare Mineral’s fairly light powder finally completed my Fall Box Click Here To View (I am considering taking orders) bought my Mega Millions lottery ticket (wish me luck) Here’s a photo I want to share from the archives of the American Falls taken from the Canadian point of view. Note the hot air balloon on the horizon.
Thanks to my friend, Debra, I received this email today. So take a trip down memory lane and realize how old you really are! I wonder what will be on our children’s list…
