Mumbo Jumbo Stuff

I cannot recall when I have had so many headaches. Seriously, it is insane.
My expert opinion clearly blames the oppressive heat and humidity as
we have now achieved 16 straight days of over 90 degrees.

Today, trying to eat healthy, I prepared tuna fish salad over a bed of arugula and
accompanied this dish with a fresh red apple.
Sounds great right?
Well, be advised never, I repeat never to
chase your vitamins with a glass of iced tea post lunch.
Not a very pretty sight.

Where is my Moose Track ice cream?
To hell with healthy eating.

The wedding invitations are almost finished.
OMG! I am so very pleased with this project.

Little Jack is running a fever and feeling under the weather.
He is supposed to sleep over at Mimi's house tomorrow night.
I promised him popcorn and the movie Cars.
Waffles for a Saturday breakfast.
Hope you are better little guy!


Now where is the dock?

If your headaches continue see the doctor - I bet they are from the heat - I am feeling bad myself.

Since I stopped eating wheat I'm headache free! I hope you're feeling better soon... The head does not help headaches.

Christmas in July Give A Way

What better way to celebrate the middle of summer with a give a way for one lucky blogging friend? Just because I want to, I will be giving away a Christmas box with an accordion album. This happens to be my design and I have already given one away last December. Sorry, Kate , you will have to sit this one out! This paper mache box holds an accordion album inside. More than likely, I will make a minor modification to the box before shipping it to its new home. I really love these vintage papers from Melissa Frances Scrapbook . Her collection of designs and patterns reminds me of a little sea side cottage. I can smell the ocean spray right now. These papers bring me back to a time when I think I would have loved to live…The Victorian Age. But let’s not fool anyone, I want all of the modern day luxuries. Tyler Florence Made Me Breakfast!

Yes, it is true!  Tyler Florence from Food Network made me blueberry pancakes, maple sugar pepper bacon and caramelized bananas.  How did this happen, you say?  In short, my children gave me tickets to The Metropolitan Cooking Show in Atlanta as a birthday present.  Being a diehard Tyler Florence fanatic, I opted for the special show to gaze upon my favorite celebrity chef.  Not being a shy gal, I ran up to the mike to ask my very probing question.  “What is the secret of making risotto?” Here I am on the big screen asking my question to Tyler Florence.
