I can remember where I got certain things and when. I have always collected ornments from every where we travel. My mother also gave me ornments from my childhood trees. I have all of my Grandmothers old ornments also. I can't use them all every year but they are changed around and remember often with love and affection. All of the ornaments I have are a connection to the past.Cherehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12294315961991346225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289333711053350323.post-8003104935480550192008-12-22T06:08:00.000-05:002008-12-22T06:08:00.000-05:00Those are beautiful ornaments for Christmas tree d...Those are beautiful ornaments for Christmas tree decoration!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289333711053350323.post-7067444299909948942008-12-21T00:41:00.000-05:002008-12-21T00:41:00.000-05:00Beautiful tree - I love that so many of your ornam...Beautiful tree - I love that so many of your ornaments are sentimental. It makes it a treasure to unwrap each one every year and remember where it came from and who it is for.

And the ear on the donkey - I think I had more nicks and chips than that by the time I was 36, so he's doing just fine. They were mostly styrofoam shapes covered in sequins, beads and tassels. They were packed in a box and long forgotten until I found them in our last move. They are now proudly displayed on my daughter's Christmas tree, two generations later. I love Christmas traditions!Debra (a/k/a Doris, Mimi)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12703142765614822707noreply@blogger.com
